Mindfulness meditation is a tool to help us develop a greater awareness and acceptance of our thoughts and emotions, allowing us to handle stress and anxiety with greater ease, decrease physical and psychological suffering, cope with chronic pain, and develop greater compassion and acceptance of self. A regular practice of mindfulness improves over-all health and well-being.

In this workshop we will:

  • Learn the meaning of mindfulness practices.
  • Experience techniques that can be applied to reduce tension and relax.
  • Practice a guided mindfulness meditation.
  • Learn strategies to develop a home meditation practice and how to apply mindfulness in your daily life.
