Work can be stressful on both our minds and our bodies. When we sit all day at a computer, we can develop tension and stress that causes physical pain. The demands of the workplace and rising expectations can cause us to feel emotionally tense and overwhelmed. You don’t have to wait for a class to stretch and relieve stress; you can recharge and restore at work.In this workshop we will:
– Identify the physical effects of sitting and long term stress on the body.

– Practice a variety of poses that can be practiced at your desk and in your chair to counteract tension and stress.

– Experience breathing techniques and simple meditation practices that will help bring the body and mind to balance.

– Receive a take-home guide including the poses and techniques practiced in the workshop.
