Pranayama, the 4th Limb of the 8 Limbed Path of Yoga (Ashtanga), influences the flow of Prana (vital energy) through the Nadis (currents or channels) of the Pranamaya Kosha (energy body).
*Learn techniques that will expand or enhance your current level of Yoga and meditation practice, including Bandha (locks), Mudra (hand positions), Dristi (gaze or focus), Ujjayi (audible breathing), and Kumbaka (breath retention).
*Practice a short Vinyasa (flow) to prepare the body for Asana (sitting still), followed by a traditional guided Pranayama practice.
*Experience Savasana (complete relaxation) and guided meditation.
All levels are welcome and encouraged!
